The University of Virginia Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) Department is responsible for the execution of the University’s Capital Project Program, a program that averages $200M+ annually (not including special projects). In 2018, FP&C has over 665 projects ongoing including the $550M University Hospital Emergency Department/Interventional Program/Bed Tower Expansion that will add approximately 425,000 square feet and renovate another 95,000 square feet.
